BOLOBEDU - The South African Police Service in Bolobedu, outside Tzaneen, led by the Station Commander, Colonel Maluleke H.S accompanied by Social Crime Prevention coordinators and other members came together to lend a helping hand to a young man from a destitute family in honour of Mandela Month.

The members then met with the 20-year-old Grade 11 learner at Modubatse High School in Kgapane on Friday, 29 July 2022, who said his wish is to have a warm place to call home, a meal and the ability to study so that his family can live a better life in future.
Men for Change, Deputy Chairperson, PAC Molope offered to accommodate the young man at his house. Meanwhile, spiritual crime prevention, Pastor Moshole arranged for a proper house to be built.
The team also collaborated with other stakeholders such as Departments of Social Development and SASSA, GLM, Media platforms, Modjadji Plaza and Educators during the project. The SAPS jointly with these stakeholders also donated food parcels and other essentials.
