Following release of the Provincial Crime Statistics for the third quarter of 2021/2022 financial year, the Waterberg District management led by the District Commissioner Major General Dikeledi Mangena, presented their own crime statistics for the same quarter on Thursday 17 March 2022 at the Waterberg District Municipal offices.

Major General Mangena was accompanied by the station commanders and other officers from Waterberg District. In attendance were also the Executive Mayor and Councillors of the Local Municipality.

After the presentation, the Mayor and councillors were given the chance to ask questions. Major General Mangena promised to give feedback on complaints that could not be resolved in that meeting.
