GQEBERHA – SAPS Walmer detectives are trying to trace the owner of two batteries found in possession of a suspect after he was arrested on Wednesday, 16 March 2022.

It is alleged that on the mentioned date, at approximately 08:40 a 27-year-old male was arrested at the corners of Main Road and 6th Ave, Walmer for being in possession of suspected stolen property. He was in possession of two batteries.

Police are urgently trying to locate the owner of these batteries. Anyone who can assist in identifying these batteries as theirs, is asked to contact D/Sgt Julius Mgushelo on 041 5811496 or 083 501 4181 or Crime Stop on 08600 10111 or the nearest police station or send information via MYSAPSAPP. Proof of ownership may be required.
