SAPS Vhembe Distict Women’s Network and Men for Change host Round Table event

On Friday 24 September 2021, the SAPS Mopani District Women’s Network and Men for Change hosted the Round Table event at Tshaulu Police Station, with the objective of strengthening the working relationship with the members at zone 2 stations being Malamulele, Saselamani and Tshaulu.

 

The event was led by SAPS Saselamani Station Commander Lieutenant Colonel Hlekulani Muleleke, Malamulele Vispol Commander Lieutenant Colonel Rhulani Olivia Mavasa and  Support Head Lieutenant Colonel Moyana Fernandez, Tshaulu Acting Station Commander Captain Hubulani Netshitavhadulu accompanied by Tshaulu social crime prevention Warrant Officer  Tshililo Mposhomali, Sergeant Martha Machaya and zone 2 CPF Chairperson Ms Khensani Chauke.

 

The following were addressed:

 

* Women to support each other

 

* Condemned the issue of pull her down syndrome.

 

* In times of operations, members must unite and work as a team and assist each other

 

* The members must love and protect each other.

 

* The police must strengthen partnership with community leaders, pastors and business owners.

 

* To fight Gender-Based Violence and Domestic Violence.

 

* Station communication officers must intensify radio campaigns.

 

* Cleanliness, respect and order especially at work.

 

* To respect and work in line with the job discription

 

* Members to identify and develop a culture of aligning themselves according to the year calendar with specific campaigns and put all efforts to make such campaigns a success.
