SAPS New Brighton are investigating a case of murder after a man was stabbed in New Brighton Saturday evening, 25 September 2021.

It is alleged that on the abovementioned date, at approximately 20:30, in Tuta Lane, New Brighton, the deceased Nkosinathi Ndala (30) and the suspect were drinking together when the suspect assaulted Nkosinathi.  Nkosinathi then allegedly stabbed the suspect in the face with a broken bottle.  The suspect left and after a while he returned with a knife and stabbed Nkosinathi in the abdomen, chest and arm. He died on the scene. The suspect was taken to hospital for medical treatment.
