SAPS Bethelsdorp detectives are seeking the community’s assistance in finding a 26-year-old person who was reported missing on Tuesday, 14 September 2021 from Jansen Street in Booysens Park.
According to police information Abongile Rungqu was last seen by his father at his aunt’s house in Booysens Park. Abongile resides with his aunt. His father alleged that on Monday, 13 September 2021 at 12:00, he visited his son as he heard that he displayed suicidal tendencies in that he attempted to hang himself. His father spoke to his son who promised to go to the doctor the same day. That same evening at about 18:00, the father was informed that Abongile left a note saying that he was going to church. At about 20:00, it is alleged that Abongile called his mother and informed her that he was walking around in the bushes between St Albans and Booysens Park. He promised to go home but never did. His phone is on voicemail.
Abongile was last seen wearing a brown jersey, a pair of blue skinny jeans and black sneakers.
