SAPS Benoni Flying Squad continue to clamp down on crime in Ekurhuleni District

BENONI - Over the weekend, members of SAPS Benoni Flying Squad have arrested four suspects and recovered four vehicles and four motor cycles this past weekend in separate incidents.

On Friday, 12 August 2022 the members followed up on information regarding stolen motor cycles which led them to an identified address in Etwatwa. The members arrested two suspects, aged 24 and 38, and recovered three motor cycles which are positively linked to cases reported at SAPS Krugersdorp, Dobsonville and Wierdabrug respectively.

In an unrelated case, the members recovered another stolen motor vehicle in Kempton Park.

Furthermore, the members also recovered four stolen motor vehicles in Kempton Park, Etwatwa, Benoni and Springs respectively.

A 27-year-old suspect sought for fraud on a SAPS Brighton Beach was traced and arrested at an identified address in Witfield, Boksburg this past weekend. In another incident the members also arrested a 33-year-old suspect in Brakpan for possession of drugs.
