SA and China Set to Enhance Trade Ties at Investment Conference

Johannesburg: Trade, Industry and Competition Deputy Minister Zuko Godlimpi will on Tuesday address the South Africa-China Trade and Investment Promotion Conference to be held at the Galagher Convention Center in Midrand, Johannesburg. The event aims to strengthen strategic partnerships, boost bilateral trade, and explore investment opportunities between South Africa and China.

According to South African Government News Agency, the conference will gather senior business leaders and government representatives from China, along with prominent South African companies across key sectors. The initiative is set to promote collaboration and mutual growth for both nations.

The Chinese delegation will feature 400 leading enterprises, showcasing their products at the venue from 23-25 September 2025. This exhibition is expected to highlight various industries and innovations, fostering a platform for exchange and cooperation between the two countries.
