RUNDU: In a tragic turn of events at Friendly Private School in Rundu, a 41-year-old teacher collapsed and died suddenly on Monday.
According to the Namibia Press Agency (Nampa), Bonifatius Kanyetu, who spoke to Nampa on Tuesday, the teacher, identified as Sindano Rachel Masela, appeared to be in good health throughout the school day and exhibited no signs of illness prior to the incident, which occurred at approximately 14h38.
Kanyetu detailed that Masela had been fetching water from a tap when she suddenly collapsed and was pronounced dead at the scene. Following the incident, Masela’s body was transported to the Rundu State Hospital mortuary. The police are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding her death.
