DURBAN – The Amajuba Anti-Stock Theft Unit received information about a woman who reported yesterday morning at Utrecht SAPS to report that her 12 cattle were stolen from the grazing camp since 2016.
She reported that since her husband passed away in 2015, one of her close relative had stolen her cattle. Upon receiving the complaint, the team proceeded to a farm in Utrecht where the 12 stolen cattle were recovered. The recovered livestock had ten calves. The cattle was returned to the lawful owner.
A 55-year-old suspect was placed under arrest for stock theft. He is appearing in the Utrecht Magistrates Court today.
