Rakgoadi SAPS conducted safety for people living with disabilities and prevention of abuse awareness campaign

The Rakgoadi community were addressed about 16 Days of Activism for no Violence Against Women and Children awareness campaign at a local Hall today.

 

The campaign was led by the Vispol Commander of Rakgoadi SAPS, Warrant Officer Seloane in support of the Social Crime Prevention Coordinator, Constable Mathibela, Motetema SAPS members, Warrant Officer Rampedi and Monongahela including officials from the Department of Social Development and Social Worker, Mr Seopela.

 

The public were sensitized about the following issues:

 

* Gender Based Violence (GBV)

* Domestic violence

* Disability and social grants

* Sexual offences

* Substance abuse

* Child negligence
