Queenstown public order police recover stolen property in Cofimvaba

EASTERN CAPE – On Tuesday, 11 January 2022, during routine crime prevention duties in Cofimvaba by the Queenstown Public Order Police, two suspects were arrested for possession of suspected stolen property.

 

A 35-year-old male was arrested after he was found in possession of, 1 HP CPU black in colour, a black computer mouse and grey computer keyboard. The estimated street value is R10 000-00.

 

A 21-year-male was arrested when he was found in possession a Frontline monitor, a Microsoft keyboard, a Genius keyboard and a HP CPU valued at about R20 000-00.

 

The following were booked in as found property:

2 base bed, 1 motor jack, 2 wheel truck spanners, 1 homemade axe, 2 ball cutters, 3 table knives, 1 bunch of car keys, 2 corrugated iron scissors, 1 car pot nett, 1 Mobicel, spanners and an iron rod.

 

The suspect are due to appear in court soon.
