POLOKWANE – The Provincial Corporate Communication and Liaison through members attached to the Media Centre, Lieutenant Colonel Mamphaswa Seabi and Sergeant Mienkie Ramakgoakgoa, have separately mobilized the Waterberg community about the upcoming Imbizo of the Provincial Commissioner of the South African Police Service in Limpopo, Lieutenant General Thembi Radebe with Mokopane Community Radio Station and Waterberg FM respectively, on Thursday, 09 December 2021.
The event will be hosted at Jasper Sports ground at Extension 13, Phagameng location in Modimolle on Friday, 10 December 2021.
Additionally, other pressing issues were also discussed with the listeners such as anti-fraud and online scams where unsuspecting clients are lured to buying cars and houses which they will never receive.
Furthermore, these criminals use the victim’s personal particulars to access their bank accounts and later steal their money.
Parents were also encouraged to be aware of the children’s whereabouts at all times to avoid drownings and missing person incidents that are currently occurring across the province.
Lastly, the listeners were informed about the ongoing operations that are currently taking place in all the Districts and also encouraged communities to remain safe and vigilant while partying and driving in the public roads in order to avoid being on the wrong side of the law during the festive season celebrations.
