Nelspruit: The Provincial Commissioner of the SAPS in Mpumalanga, Lieutenant General Semakaleng Daphney Manamela has welcomed the arrest of a 36-year-old woman for dealing in dagga, at Newscom in Kabokweni on Sunday, 06 March 2022.
Her arrest comes after the police in Kabokweni received information about a woman who was dealing in dagga. During the search at her residential place, a bag of dagga was found. The recovered dagga is estimated to worth about R10 000 in street value and the woman was immediately arrested.
The suspect is expected to appear before the Kabokweni Magistrates’ Court today, 07 March 2022 facing a charge of being in possession of dagga.
Lieutenant General Semakaleng Daphney Manamela also appreciated members of the public for availing the information and encouraged them to continue doing so. “Working together with the community we can do more and squeeze crime to zero” said the General.
