President Cyril Ramaphosa will on Tuesday, 25 January 2022, receive letters of credence from Heads of Mission-Designate at a Credentials Ceremony. The President will receive 13 Heads of Mission-Designate who have arrived in South Africa to serve in diplomatic missions in South Africa.
The Heads of Mission-Designate from the following countries will serve at missions in South Africa with the aim of advancing diplomatic relations:
Republic of Malawi
Argentine Republic
Romania
State of Israel
Republic of Equatorial Guinea
Republic of Trinidad and Tobago
Republic of Ecuador
Republic of Congo
Mexico
Hellenic Republic
People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria
New Zealand
Republic of Cuba
The Credentials Ceremony will be attended by a select group of invitees including representatives of government and media.
Proceedings of the Credentials Ceremony can be followed on Presidency and government digital platforms from 16h30.
Media are invited to participate in the ceremony and asked to submit the following details for accreditation: name, surname, media house and contact details to Khutjo@presidency.gov.za(link sends e-mail) by no later than 15:00, Monday, 24 January 2022.
