Premier Kaobitsa Bushy Maape in his capacity as Premier of the North West Province and Chairperson of the Provincial Council on AIDS (PCA) will on Thursday, 1 December 2022 deliver a keynote address at the Provincial World AIDS Day Commemoration event to be held at the Lotlhakane village Sports Ground, outside Mahikeng.
The Premier will be accompanied by Health MEC Madoda Sambatha who will update communities on the departmental interventions and progress made in the fight against HIV and STIs and outline some of the challenges that require ongoing partnerships with civil society.
The commemoration event will take place under the theme “Equalise and Integrate to End AIDS” which is a call to action for communities and stakeholders to work towards addressing inequalities and help to end the AIDS pandemic.
