WESTERN CAPE – Police set sights on removing drugs from the streets that are plaguing communities saw an adult female land behind bars for dealing in drugs.
Members of Paarl East Crime Prevention Unit together with Crime Intelligence executed a search warrant at a premises in Wisteria Street, Paarl East, yesterday, 14 March 2022 and found 33 packets crystal meth, 133 mandrax tablets, 33 dagga cigarettes and an undisclosed amount of cash in the house.
Furthermore the same members arrested two suspects aged 29 and 39 for the possession of an unlicensed firearm and drugs when they searched a premises at Springbok flats and confiscated 30 mandrax tablets, ten half mandrax tablets, seven dagga cigarettes and a firearm with ammunition.
Once charged the suspects are due to make their court appearances in Paarl Magistrates court respectively.
