The South African Police Service in Kwanobuhle have launched a search for three armed suspects who allegedly robbed a business owner and fatally injured him.
It is alleged that three armed suspects entered the business (spaza shop) in Palo Street, Kwanobuhle at about 18:45 last night, Monday, 23 August 2021 and after robbing the owner, he was shot in his back. He died on the scene.
The suspects fled the scene on foot with groceries.
The name of the victim will be released after formal identification was completed.
Police are investigating a case of murder and business robbery and are following up on all possible leads. No arrests are made and anyone who might be able to assist with any information that could lead to the arrest of the suspects are requested to contact Detective Captain Tommy Whitebooi on 082 441 8129 or their nearest police station.
