The Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences unit in Maletswai are seeking the community’s help in tracing a suspect in an allegation of rape that took place during the early hours of Sunday morning, 8 September 2024 in Eureka, Burgersdorp.
It is alleged that at approximately 01:40 on the abovementioned date, the complainant, 36-years-old was walking home when she was confronted by a male that was armed with a knife. She was forced into the veld and raped.
Police have compiled an identikit of the suspect and the details are as follow:
He is a tall, dark in complexion and is aged late 30’s / early 40’s. He was wearing a blue jacket, greyish trouser, and white bucket hat.
