SAPS Walmer detectives are on the hunt for two suspects allegedly involved in a murder and attempted murder which took place on Thursday morning, 09 September 2021 in Walmer Township.
It is alleged that at approximately 01:55, the two victims both males aged 30 arrived home, at Phela Khulu Street, Walmer, when they were confronted by two unknown suspects. They demanded cash and cellphones, however the suspects attacked both victims with a knife. One victim sustained a fatal stab wound to the upper body and passed away on the scene, while the second victim also sustained multiple stab wounds and was taken to hospital for treatment. The suspects fled with a cellphone and cash.
A case of murder and attempted murder is currently under investigation.
