Police Minister visits Limpopo province to inspect Safer Festive Season operations

The first day of the Safer Festive Season Inspection Tour to kick-off in Limpopo.

 

Police Minister, General Bheki Cele will on Monday, 13 December 2021, take the annual Safer Festive Season Inspection Tour to the Limpopo province.

 

The visit forms part of efforts by the South African Police Service, to channel resources to areas where they are most needed, to ensure police deal decisively with crime during the holiday season.

 

Under the theme, “Extending our reach through blue light visibility” Minister Cele together with the SAPS management team from national and the province led by the Provincial Commissioner of Limpopo Lieutenant General Thembi Hadebe, will assess the effectiveness of Safer Festive Season plans put in place, to ensure that residents and holidaymakers are and feel safe, during the holiday season.
