GAUTENG – Police in Tshwane recovered two unlicensed firearms and ammunition on Tuesday, 04 January 2022 in Temba following an intelligence-driven operation.
A team comprising of members from Tshwane North Crime Intelligence and Soshanguve K9 unit operationalised information. According to a preliminary report the 33-year-old suspect is involved in various pointing of firearm cases in Temba.
The SAPS members proceeded to the said address of the suspect and conducted a search of the premises. The suspect was not found at the address, but police recovered two unlicensed firearms and ammunition. Further investigation is underway.
