Police arrest one of the wanted suspects for the recent Eldorado Park double murder

PARKTOWN – The Police from Gauteng Organised Crime Tracing Unit arrested one of the men suspected to be responsible for the killing of two people in Eldorado Park on Friday, 25 November 2022. The 26-year-old suspect was arrested in Maraisburg, West of Johannesburg, on Tuesday 29 November 2022.

The members from Gauteng Anti-Gang Unit and Organised Crime Tracing Unit have been working hard to identify and ensure a swift apprehension of the suspects. The breakthrough came within four days and the team is following all possible leads to arrest the remaining suspects.

Gauteng Acting Provincial Commissioner Major General Tommy Mthombeni has welcomed the arrest and urged the team to continue working around the clock until all the suspects are behind bars.

The arrested suspect will be charged with murder and taken to Magistrate Court in due course.
