Lusikisiki: The National Police Commissioner, General Fannie Masemola, expressed gratitude towards the South African public for their crucial assistance in the rapid apprehension of suspects involved in the recent Lusikisiki mass murders.
According to South African Government News Agency, General Masemola highlighted the efficiency and community spirit shown by South Africans, which led to the swift arrest of all four suspects linked to the Lusikisiki killings. The general public, along with the media, played a significant role by disseminating images and information that helped locate the suspects less than 24 hours after the police issued an alert.

The South African Police Service (SAPS), however, has chosen not to disclose the specific locations where the suspects were found and arrested. This decision was made to prevent any potential compromise to the ongoing investigation.
