Please assist police to find next of kin of after body of lifeless man was found in Kameelrivier

Police in Vaalbank would like to request community members around Kameelrivier, Vaalbank, Siyabuswa and surrounding areas to help police identify the person who was found dead in Kameelrivier open field on Saturday, 31 August 2024. Police received information about somebody who is estimated to be aged between 49 and 55 years who was seen lying motionless in an open field. On arrival police could not see any signs of life. As a result, medical practitioners were summoned, and the person was declared dead on the scene. The person was wearing a pair of green trousers, a white shirt, a black jacket, and brown shoes (bearing the CAT label). Police urge the community members and friends who might know of a missing person matching this description to please call the investigation officer Sergeant Sello Seku on 072 489 1945 or call Crime Stop number on 08600 10111.
