Park Hyatt New York Promotes Laurent Ebzant to Area Vice President/General Manager as Major Renovations Unfold

Laurent Ebzant has been elevated from General Manager to Area Vice President/General Manager at Park Hyatt New York, located on the prestigious BillionairesRow in Manhattan. This upscale hotel has also confirmed that in his expanded role, Ebzant will collaborate closely with Yvette Edwards, the Senior Vice President of Field Operations at Hyatt, to enhance operational efficiencies across Park Hyatt properties throughout the Hyatt Americas region.

Ebzant management approach, noted for its strong emphasis on both team empowerment and superior guest services, will now influence several notable Park Hyatt locations, including those in Toronto, Aviara, Washington D.C., Chicago, Beaver Creek, Buenos Aires, Mendoza, and the soon-to-open Park Hyatt Los Cabos at Cabo del Sol.

Laurent, a Paris native, boasts an illustrious educational background with an MBA in Hospitality Management from the Paris Hospitality School. His first foray into high-end hospitality began in London at the Connaught Hotel, which is favored by the Royal Family for Sunday dining. Since joining the Hyatt family as a night room service attendant at the Hyatt Regency Paris Charles de Gaulle in 1996, Laurent has cultivated a diverse international career across Hyatt hotels worldwide, with the United States being the ninth country he has resided in during his professional journey.
