PanSALB in partnership with the SABC to launch Language Activism Month and the standardised South African Sign Langage (SASL) national anthem
The Pan South African Language Board (PanSALB) in partnership with the SABC will be conducting the official launch of the Language Activism Month (February) and launch of the standardised South African Sign Language version of the National Anthem. The launch will be undertaken to commemorate the International Decade of Indigenous Languages (2022-2032) as declared by UNESCO, ahead of the International Mother Language Day (21 February).
