CHRIS HANI – Operation Vala Konke crime combating and prevention are in full swing in Chris Hani District.

As from Thursday 27 October 2022, the members conducted operations from various stations around the District in order to decrease contact related crimes.

A total of 14 suspects have been arrested for various charges including dealing in dagga, dealing in drugs, selling liquor without a license and possession of unlicensed firearms and ammunition.

The suspects will appear in various Magistrate’s Courts on Monday 31 October 2022.

The operation still continues.

The District Commissioner, Major General Rudolph Adolph applauded the members for being dedicated when executing their duties.
