Today Boksburg SAPS female officers, patrollers, youth desk members led by the Station Commander Col Matshidiso Thandi Mbele celebrated women's month by insuring safety to the community as follows:

First phase of the operation/ celebration was a roadblock at the corners of Kingfisher and Trichards street, whereby multiple vehicles where stopped and searched and handing out road safety pamphlets.

Second phase of the operation was held at the smash and grab hot spot at the corners of Atlas and Commissioner Road, where by officers interacted with the motorist, alerted them about the smash and grab that is arising in that area.

The last phase of the operation occurred at Angelo informal settlement, the community were addressed about domestic violence, men and women were encouraged to speak out when experiencing domestic violence.

Pamphlets were distributed to the community that contain more information regarding domestic violence.
