DURBAN – An intelligence driven operation was conducted by Amangwe SAPS, Crime Intelligence and Durban Public Order Police Unit in the Amangwe area late last night. Two suspects aged 42 and 46 were arrested for unlawful possession of a pistol and rifle. The serial numbers of both the firearms had been obliterated.

Several rounds of ammunition was found with the firearms. Both the suspects will be profiled to establish if they are linked to other cases. The suspects are due to appear in the Estcourt Magistrate’s Court on Monday, 27 September 2021.
