In fulfilling its mandate, the North West Provincial Legislature creates platforms such as the Disability Parliament for sectors in the Province to interact with Members of the Provincial Legislature as well as Members of the Executive through Sectoral Parliaments. The session will afford the Provincial Disability Forum an opportunity to table the 2021 Summit recommendations where-after the Departments will be requested to respond to issues raised during the session.
This year, the North West Provincial Legislature in collaboration with the Office on the Status of Persons with Disabilities, Department of Social Development and the Provincial Disability Forum will be hosting the People with Disability Sectoral Parliament.
People with Disabilities including their forums from all four districts of the North West Province will attend the event.
