The main bridge linking the City of Bamenda with the Rendezvous neighborhood collapsed on Saturday leaving commuters helpless.
Those who wanted to move to other destinations using this bridge were stranded, thereby rerouting their journey.
bikers, drivers, and commercial agents were the worst hit as traffic was experienced along the Ntarikon road leading to the hospital roundabout.
Roads linking towns in Bamenda, North West region, are in an advanced state of dilapidation. A piece of recent information revealed that international donors will finance the rehabilitation of the road, to the tune of more than FCFA 30 billion, but commuters do not know when.
