The Police Wives Association, alongside the National Task Force for Drugs and Substance Abuse, has concluded a nationwide campaign to raise awareness about the dangers of Kush.

The campaign featured engagements at key locations such as Waterloo 55, Tombo Junction, Hastings, Jui, Shell New Road, Up-Gun Roundabout, and concluded at Eastern Police Station. The focus was on educating the public about the harmful effects of Kush and other substances.

Leading the charge, Mrs Doris Faya Sellu, President of the Sierra Leone Police Wives Association, delivered a powerful keynote speech. She emphasised that community participation and support are crucial in the national fight against drug abuse.

This initiative aims to protect our communities, especially the youth, from the devastating impacts of substance abuse.
