All media are informed that the National Treasury will be closed for business from 28-31 December 2021 as per the approval of the Director-General, Mr Dondo Mogajane. During this period, the media unit will not be available to respond to any media queries.

The department wishes to thank all media for the engagement throughout the year and we look forward to the ongoing cooperation in disseminating important economic and fiscal information to members of the South African public.

The National Treasury team will be available as of the 3 January 2022.
