QONCE: A joint operation between SAPS Punzana detectives and SAPS Alice resulted in the arrest of a 22-year-old man following the murder of a 38-year-old man at Mt Moke outside Qonce on 19 March 2022.

It is alleged that the two had a quarrel at a traditional ceremony over a cigarette when the deceased was stabbed on the upper and died on the way to hospital. Police followed up information and tracked the suspect at a village in Alice. He will appear before the Zwelitsha Magistrates' court tomorrow.
