GAUTENG – On Saturday 30 August 2021 at about 10:30 a murder suspect was arrested in Ext 11, Mohlakeng after running and hiding from the police for more than one year.
On Thursday 20 August 2020 at approximately 23:50 the police were called to a scene of shooting at a dumping site in Randfontein.
Upon arrival they found a female with multiple gunshot wounds who later succumbed to her injuries. Since then the police did everything in their power to arrest the suspect who was later identified as the boyfriend of the deceased.
The investigating officer on this case was on duty looking for another suspect in a murder case when he came across the suspect.
