The Police were informed about an accident involving a pedestrian on the N1 road.

On the 13 November 2021 at about 01:12 members of Winburg SAPS attended to an accident scene, they found a body lying in the middle of the N1 road about 27 km from Winburg towards Ventersburg.

The body was of a male person with multiple injuries and beyond recognition. Preliminary investigation reveals that it might have been a hit and run. The deceased is unknown, he was wearing a grey trouser, brown lumber jacket, blue tekkies and an old grey cap written South Africa with a badge of an elephant.

A case of culpable homicide is been registered for further investigation.
