Mothibistad Police request public assistance in locating a missing person

SAPS in the Northern Cape is requesting the assistance of the public in locating 58-year-old Mary Tauname who went missing.

According to reports, Mary showed up at her daughter’s residence at Gamasepa village New Stance on Monday, 21 October 2024. When the family woke up after going to sleep to check on her, she was still at home with them on 22 October 2024 at 00:10.

On the same day at 07:00, the family realised that Mary left the house at 00:35 from Kgomotso.

At the time of her disappearance she was wearing a blue traditional dress with white tekkies with a black and gold wig (hairpiece).

The family has since been searching for her and eventually reported her as missing to the police.

The public is again reminded that there is no waiting period to report a person missing.
