Mokwakwaila police engage with the learners through awareness campaign

Today the police in Mokwakwaila outside Tzaneen supported the Grade 7 farewell function at Senopelwa Primary School in Ga-Matipane village and grabbed the opportunity to address the learners.

 

The station was represented by social crime prevention coordinator and communication officer, Sergeant Tinyiko Manganye, accompanied by Youth Crime Prevention representative Thabo Mokgobi, in partnership with other stakeholders such as social development and local councillor Ngoako Maunatlala.

 

Parents and learners were addressed about the following issues:

 

* Bullying

* Sexual offences

* Substance and drug abuse

* Peer pressure and choosing friends wisely

* Consequences of a criminal record

* Domestic Violence

* GBV

* Parents to look out and know their children

* Report any form of criminality
