The City’s Customer Relations Department will deploy the Mobile Office to the Joe Slovo Community Hall in Freedom Way in Joe Slovo on 15 June 2022. The Mobile office will be at the community hall from 09:30 until 13:30, where officials will be assisting members with general municipal account enquiries.
The enquiries include rates, sewage, electricity, water, refuse collection, potholes and all other account enquiries. They will also assist with general enquiries relating to City Parks, Urban Waste, Property Management, Valuations, and all other general enquiries.
The City’s Mobile Office initiative focuses on areas where communities are far from municipal facilities, such as cash offices, housing offices, subcouncil offices or Free Call Lines.
‘We are taking service to Cape Town’s remote areas, one area at a time. I appeal to the Joe Slovo residents to brave the cold weather and come and get the help they need. Residents must please bring a copy of their municipal accounts and/ID for ease of reference,’ said the City’s Mayoral Committee Member for Corporate Services, Alderman Theresa Uys.
