The National Coordinator for the Media Network Movement, Mr. Ibrahim Isaac Mansaray, today presented an award to Mr. Laima A.K. Dumbuya, Senior Budget Officer at the Ministry of Technical and Higher Education, for his remarkable contributions to national development. The award ceremony took place at the Ministry’s New England Sababu Building, underscoring Mr. Dumbuya’s significant role in supporting the New Direction Government’s educational initiatives, which have had a profound impact on our nation’s development.
In his address, Mr. Mansaray emphasized that the award was a testament to Mr. Dumbuya’s exceptional work within the Ministry of Technical and Higher Education. He highlighted that the recognition stemmed from the Senior Budget Officer’s pivotal role in advancing the government’s key priorities, especially the “Big Five Game Changers” agenda.

Mr. Mansaray stated. He further commended Mr. Dumbuya for his transparency and active involvement in the Ministry’s financial planning, adding that the award is well-deserved for his continuous efforts toward national development.
Accepting the award, Mr. Laima A.K. Dumbuya expressed his gratitude to the Media Network Movement for recognizing his contributions. He dedicated the award to his colleagues at both the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Technical and Higher Education, acknowledging the invaluable support and teamwork that has allowed him to showcase his skills. Mr. Dumbuya also expressed appreciation to his family for their unwavering support, highlighting the importance of a united front in achieving national goals.

Mr. Mansaray concluded the event by stating that the award was given to Mr. Dumbuya for his exceptional performance during the recently concluded budget hearings at the Ministry of Finance, where his outstanding defense of the Ministry of Technical and Higher Education’s budget stood out.
