Minister Mbalula leads Arrive Alive Road Safety Awareness Campaign ahead of Preliminary Statistics

The Minister of Transport, Mr Fikile Mbalula will lead a Road Safety Awareness Campaign ahead of preliminary Road statistics release on Wednesday. Joined by the South African Police Service, the National Traffic Police, Provincial and Metro Police Law Enforcement Officers, the Minister will engage South Africans at different stops on their travel.

 

This campaign forms part of the intensified 365-days, “Waya-Waya” National Road Safety Campaign. Among the main pillars of the intensified Road Safety campaign for the Festive Season period are:

 

“No drinking and driving”,

“Always buckling up”,

“Vehicle roadworthiness”, and

“Pedestrian visibility”
