Minister Fikile Mbalula and Deputy Minister Sindisiwe Chikunga deliver Transport 2022/23 Budget Vote, 18 May  

Minister of Transport Fikile Mbalula and Deputy Minister Sindisiwe Chikunga pronounce government economic interventions through the Department of Transport’s 2022/23 Budget Vote

The Minister of Transport, Mr Fikile Mbalula and Deputy Minister, Ms Sindisiwe Chikunga will deliver the 2022/23 Budget Vote Presentation virtually to Parliament.

The Minister and Deputy Minister will pronounce on significant interventions by the Department of Transport aimed at creating jobs through infrastructure projects. They will also outline programmes intended to contribute to the Economic Recovery Plan.

They will also use the Budget Vote to outline plans for the 2022/23 financial year and reflect on commitments made in the 2021/22 Budget Vote speech.

Members of the media are invited to join the Minister as he delivers the budget vote and will have an opportunity to engage him on pronouncements made as follows:
