Minister Ayanda Dlodlo visits farming community of Dominionville in North West, 12 Nov

Minister Dlodlo to lead a service delivery outreach in the farming community of Dominionville in Matlosana Municipality, North West

Minister for the Public Service and Administration, Ms Ayanda Dlodlo, as the National Champion of the District Development Model (DDM) in the Dr Kenneth Kaunda District, North West, will on Friday 12, November 2021, lead a service delivery outreach program to a secluded community of Dominionville in the Matlosana Local Municipality.

Accompanied by the two Provincial Champions, MEC for Public Works and Roads, Mr Oageng Molapisi and MEC for Agriculture and Rural Development, Ms Desbo Mohono, who are also allocated to the district, Minister Dlodlo will take the much needed government services such as Home Affairs, South African Social Security services (SASSA), South African Police Services (SAPS) and Labour and Employment Department among others to approximately 250 households in the farming community and surroundings, outskirt of Klerksdorp.

The visit will also provide an opportunity for the Minister and the MECs to engage with the small farming community and the residents of the district on issues affecting them for the purpose of intervention through the DDM initiative’s approach of bringing integrated government services from the three spheres of government.

The outreach is also part of the Vooma Vaccination Weekend Campaign scheduled for 12 to 14 November and 03 to 05 December 2021, to intensify the country’s vaccination program and to reassure citizens that the vaccines are safe and effective in reducing chances of getting sick after contraction of the corona virus.
