Basic Education Minister and Ten Flags launch innovative Surprise Shondlane Upside Down School

The Minister of Basic Education Mrs Angie Motshekga and Ten Flags Theme Park CEO Thapelo Tshephe will on Friday, 30 September unveil an innovative addition to the Ten Flags Theme Park with the launch of the Surprise Shondlane Upside Down School in Rustenburg, North West.

The school which is situated in Waterkloof in Rustenburg, is a first of its kind in the world and is fully equipped with modern technology as well as a wealth of activities that teach independent thinking and all round curiosity with a focus on Engineering, Sciences and ICT.

Ten Flags Theme Park is a first of its kind for Southern Africa and is meant to enhance and expose learners to knowledge and competence that will help become more complete students as they embark on the journey of varsity life and their careers.

At its core, Ten Flags operates as an Educational Theme Park, with the sole purpose of supporting the growth of young people through curriculum inclined activities that promote physical and mental health while keeping education at the centre.
