Government to host a two-day Mining Investment Conference in the North West Province

The Minister of Mineral Resources and Energy, Mr Gwede Mantashe (MP) will deliver a keynote address at a two-day North West Provincial Mining Investment Conference set to take place in Rustenburg from the 25th until 26th January 2022.

Convened in collaboration with the North West Provincial government, the hybrid conference will bring together various stakeholders in the mining industry, including government, captains of the mining industry, and potential investors.

Delegates at the conference are expected to rigorously deliberate on the diverse investment opportunities in the mining industry. The deliberations will be guided by the theme “Growing a globally competitive and transformed mineral and energy resources sector”

Furthermore, the Conference will feature and promote key junior mining projects in the province. The engagements will further highlight the unique provincial minerals and mining offering of the province and share information on the commodities attracting the most exploration and development funding.
