On 26 August 2021 at about 13:30, it is alleged that a male was robbed of his cellphone and an undisclosed amount of money in Loop Street, Middelburg.

According to the 45-year-old male he was walking towards a shop in Loop Street, when he was approached by two unknown assailants.

The one pointed a knife at him and demanded that he handed over his belongings.

Middelburg detectives request the community to report any information that can lead to the successful apprehension and arrests of these two assailants.
