The media is herewith invited to attend the memorial service of the late constable Ashwin Pedro, who was shot and killed in the line of duty on 1 December 2022, which will be held tomorrow in Grassy Park.

The memorial service will be preceded by a parade of operational forces at 35 Squadron Belhar where the Provincial Commissioner, Lt Gen Thembisile Patekile will be in attendance.

The event details are as follows:

Operational parade – 2022-12-07, 09:00 at 35 Squadron, Erica Drive, Belhar

Wreath laying ceremony – 2022-12-07, 10:00 at Grassy Park police station

Memorial service – 2022-12-07, 11:00 at the Civic Centre, Victoria Road, Grassy Park.
