Following the adoption of a no-nonsense approach to criminality and illegal activity this festive season by the Western Cape SAPS, Police Minister, General Bheki Cele will on Thursday, 30 December 2021 join some of the SAPS safer festive season operations, ahead of the New Year’s Eve celebrations.
As part of the Safer Festive Season Inspection Tour, the Police Minister and the SAPS top brass in the province led by Provincial Commissioner Lt General Thembisile Patekile, will conduct operations to ensure residents and visitors to the Mother city; which will be a major attraction for revellers, ahead of New Year’s Eve celebrations; are and feel safe.
