PRETORIA – The South African Police Service (SAPS) together with various religious faith groups will on Friday, 30 September 2022 host a National Prayer Day to mark the end of Police Safety Month.
As part of observing September as Police Safety month, members of the SAPS will gather in all nine provinces to pray for the safety and security of all who live in SA.
The National Commissioner of the SAPS, General Fannie Masemola will lead the main proceedings in Randfontein. Provincial Commissioners of all nine provinces will also host their own prayer days in various venues; provinces will communicate accordingly.
